The "Lily Pad" Boatel Houseboat

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a great alternative for a getaway and there’s plenty in the area to enjoy. We ran into a few unexpected constraints. Cooking is not really an option which wasn’t totally clear to us. To be expected really given the age of the vessel. Electrical power is limited. The toilet wasn’t working. It was determined that we had a battery issue and it was quickly resolved and everyone we spoke with were very kind and helpful.

A totally unique experience onboard a vintage yacht. Positive: Staying on an authentic 1960's yacht was a unique experience all around. The Harbor, the town, the nighttime sky and the gentle sway was all enjoyable. So glad I found this stay.

Amazing weekend getaway Positive: Everything was close by , comes with two free kayaks , Negative: Nothing everything was amazing !

The owners of this Boatel have clearly taken great pains to think of everything you might need for your stay. They are very helpful and communicative which was very appreciated. My girls had never been on this type of boat before and had a blast. There is plenty to do in the area and we found this to be a great landing spot for hiking in the state park or shopping in Bellevue or Savannah.
